Happy 1st Birthday Carver!
Cooper made, frosted, and decorated the cake (lots of sprinkles and 20 or so candles!). Carver loved the cake! And wore his special #1 shirt today! He took layered jello for daycare treats (that was only a 6+ hour project). Carver got a lawn mower that blows bubbles, a new sippy cup, a dump truck, books, swim trunks, a summer hat, and more! Happy Birthday little man! I can't believe you're already one!! Love you!

Bowling-1st time EVER!!
6 lb. blue ball.
Bumpers.
Kid's stand.
High fives, even before he know if the ball hit any pins.
Question the whole next week: When are we going bowling again?!
(Maybe over Easter with the cousins!)

The park...our second home.

February 17th, we hit record highs and it looked as if spring was right around the corner. (It wasn’t.) Our house is a block and a half from the school park, so there wasn’t even a discussion about whether or not we would go.

Cooper started out on his bike. We got a half a block and he decided he wanted his scooter. We got about a half a block with his scooter when he decided he’d rather just run. At one point he turned around while running and said, “See mom! I’m fast LIKE YOU!” (THAT filled my love tank!)

Cooper loved getting reacquainted with the equipment and had to try out everything. Carver wasn’t really a fan of the swings, but I let him loose on the equipment, and he climbed everywhere…with brother close by, giving instructions. It wasn’t easy getting them away from the park. I’m sure we’ll have plenty of those evenings to come!
