Preschool Graduation

Cooper graduated from preschool (Lil' Rascals) last night. There was a 20 minute ceremony in the school gym, and then a time for pictures and cookies. Cooper did great! He was a little shy/embarrassed (which I expected), but he did sing and do some actions. He was very proud, but I think the whole thing was a little overwhelming too. He's moving on to Pre-K next year!

Photo shoot

The boys got new SUPERMAN t-shirts from Aunt Kayla, so we used them for a fun photo shoot while on the farm last weekend. Carver wasn't having it, so they didn't turn out the best, but here are some favorites. I hope to get some photos sent out soon!

No more training wheels!

Silly Conversation

The boys had the flu for the last week, so we have spent a lot of time together. Some quiet times, but lots of silly conversation...some too cute not to share:

I overheard Carver talking in his sleep the other night, clear as day:
"Hi dude, hey dude!"
Yelling--"Cooper, be quiet!!"
"Mommy go to AWANA's house."

We watched our fair share of Curious George this week, and one day, Carver said,
"Where is George's yellow dad?"
(The boys have always called George's friend, the man with the yellow hat, his "dad").

I don't remember what brought on this random conversation:
Cooper: Aren't skunks really good at hidin?
Me: Yeah, they are.
Cooper: And I am, too!

One other funny story (if you can stomach it):
Carver ended up throwing up for 7 days, total...his poor little immune system just couldn't kick it. Cooper, though, was only sick a couple of days. Anyway, one day, Carver and I were sitting on a blanket in the living room (I was attempting to save my poor carpet), and I was on the phone. All of sudden he started to swallow hard, so I said, "Are you going to puke? ARE YOU GOING TO PUKE??" Before either of us could really do anything (besides me saying, "GOTTA GO" on the phone), he was puking all over himself, the blanket, and me. I look over at Cooper, and yelled "GRAB YOUR BUCKET!!". He made it in the bucket, but I really think he only puked because he saw Carver do it. Believe me, I was to the point where I just HAD to laugh, or I was going to cry! And I couldn't STOP laughing!!
